On Monday, January 22, 2018, at 11:00 am, Zakho Center for Kurdish Researches at the University of Zakho, in collaboration with Kurdish Philosophy Foundation (Khunas) and the Directorate of Culture and Art in Zakho City, organized a conference on the occasion of the 71st anniversary of the foundation of the Republic of Kurdistan at the Hall of Khalil Khayali at the Faculty of Humanities, under the motto of "From Mohabad to Erbil, Philosophy of Kurdish State, and Referendum for Independence" with the presence of the President of the University of Zakho Dr. Lazgin A. Jameel, Deans of the Faculties, Politicians, and many other academics.
